The library at the South African Institute for Aquatic Biodiversity contributes to research and teaching in the aquatic sciences through heritage collections and a global web of data. Resources and services are shared with Rhodes University Library
The journal will publish manuscripts across all fields and taxa in aquaculture, fish biology, fish disease, fisheries, aquatic conservation, aquatic ecology, oceanography and management.
SABIF mobilises primary biodiversity information to make it freely available on the internet so that policy makers, managers and researchers can make well-informed decisions that contribute to South Africa’s sustainable development.
