RefWorks: Getting Started

New/ProQuest RefWorks is a web-based online research management, writing and collaboration tool. It is designed to help researchers easily gather, manage, store and share all types of information, as well as generate citations and bibliographies

Creating a RefWorks Account and Login

RefWorks is already installed on the PCs at Rhodes University Library.  Access RefWorks by clicking on the RefWorks link under Quick Links on the Library's webpage.

To use RefWorks, you must first register as a new user. When you come to the login screen, click on Create Account.

  1. Enter your university email address in the E-mail Address field.
  2. Follow instructions on the next screen.
  3. Click on the Create Account button to finish.
  4. A confirmation email will be sent to you with your user login, and password.

Once you have created your RefWorks Account, you may access RefWorks  under the Library's Quick Links menu.
