 The SA Post office issued a set of 10 stamps of George Pemba’s best known, amazing artworks.

George Pemba’s dream and vision for the arts was for it to be an expressive and healing medium in Africa to try and promote tolerance among the many diverse cultures

Lost Human Life

Sebidi is inspired in her artwork by experiences of daily township life. The suffering and disruption inflicted by apartheid, especially on women, are common themes which she explores in her paintings.
