Welcome to Rhodes University Library - a dynamic place to visit! This guide has been designed to assist you to become familiar with both print & electronic resources and on-site & virtual services at the Library

Desk Cubicles

For revision, studying, and laptops; private desk cubicles

Computer Carousels

Access the electronic resources that the library subscribes to as well as printing and word processing facilities.

Group Study Rooms/Areas

The Group Study Rooms (for 2 or more students) are available for use

in the Information Commons, Level 2 and Commerce, Level 3.  They may be booked online.

There is also a Presentation Room in the Information Commons on Level 2 where students can watch DVDs in a group and practice giving presentations

24/7 Study Area

During the day, this 24/7 study room is used for short loan reading, and as a quiet working space.

After the Library closes, the area becomes available as an access-controlled study space for you to work throughout the night. A security guard is on duty to ensure your safety.
