Wireless access
The Library is a wireless access area.
A laptop which has Wi-Fi access (a wireless network card) is required. Most of the newer computers have built in wireless network cards but if not they can be purchased at local computer stores. It is necessary to register for wireless access on the Student Networking webpage on the IT Division website. Follow the “How to Sign Up & Get Connected” instructions at any time of the day or night and in about 2 hours you will be registered. Students who sign up later in the year pay pro-rata. Visiting staff can apply for a guest account which must be ratified by the department involved in order to use the Rhodes network.
