FAQs about ebooks at WUSTL
- What are e-Books? e-Books are electronic versions of print books.
- How do I find the Library's e-Books? e-Book titles can be searched in both the OPAC for individual titles, or using the eResources tab selecting Find e-Books to view online databases.
- Why can't I read the e-Book, it says "in use." Due to our licensing agreements with publishers, some e-Books in our collections are limited to one user at a time. If you are unable to open an e-Book please Ask Us
- Can I download e-Books from the Rhodes e-Book collection to my ereader? No, most of the e-Book content CANNOT be downloaded to an ereader at this time. This is due to proprietary publisher formats and DRM (digital rights management). Some of the freely available e-Books online can be downloaded to e-Readers.
