Steps to Off-Campus logins to RU Google Scholar

Step 1: https://ru.za.libguides.com/saiablibrary/databases

Step 2: Click on ‘Google Scholar’ box on bottom far right

Step 3: You will be directed to this page

You will be prompted for :

• Surname (library login name)
  as registered at the library
• Barcode number (Rhodes students:
  enter 6 and student number, e.g. 612M1234
• PIN
  in order to access the library resources

To reset your PIN please click on the link below

Create or Reset a PIN

• you must select your own PIN 
• you must be registered for the current year as a RU Library user
