Welcome to Rhodes University Library - a dynamic place to visit! This guide has been designed to assist you to become familiar with both print & electronic resources and on-site & virtual services at the Library

Desk Cubicles

For revision, studying, and laptops; private desk cubicles

Computer Carousels

Access the electronic resources that the library subscribes to as well as printing and word processing facilities.

Group Study Rooms

The Group Study Rooms are for use (for 2 or more students) in the Information Commons, Level 2

and Commerce on Level 3.  They may be booked online.

Quiet Reading Rooms

Quiet Reading Rooms on Level 3 and Level 4

24/7 Study Area

During the day, this 24/7 study room is used for short loan reading, and as a quiet working space.

After the Library closes, the area becomes available as an access-controlled study space for you to work throughout the night. A security guard is on duty to ensure your safety.

Chill Zones

Chill out in Science  (Level 2) or Information Commons (Level 2):
